Avoid The Virus

No matter how strong a person's immune system, it is impossible to be one hundred percent immune when it comes to a contagious virus. Over the past months we have seen people from all walks of life get COVID19. So how do we protect ourselves? #covid

A) Wear a mask and wash your hands frequently

First and foremost, wear a surgical mask and wash your hands frequently. Surgical masks are effective in preventing droplet-borne diseases. As a socially responsible person, we should take these simple measures to make sure that we are protecting ourselves and others in our community from contracting a highly infectious disease.

  1. Wash your hands before wearing the mask.

  2. The coloured side should be on the outside, the folds point down and the metal strip on top.

  3. Make sure the mask covers the mouth, nose and chin whist pressing the metal strip against the bridge of your nose.

  4. After wearing the mask avoid touching it again. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after touching the mask.

  5. To dispose of the mask. Fold it in half and place it into a plastic bag and place it into a covered trash bin. Wash your hands immediately.
